An army of ANTS lovers descended on the open air Playa d’en Bossa club for the grand opening. I managed to get down there before 4pm and as I arrived there was a swarm of people ready to rave lined up. As I arrived Dublin was at the controls warming up nicely.
DJ Sneak soon followed, he brought a whole different vibe to the party. The American DJ and record producer moved to Chicago in the 80s and found inspiration in underground house music. He gained popularity in the local nightclubs and really started to make a name for himself.
Groove Armada was up next, and they played some amazing house and techno tracks before finishing off with the classic Show Me Love by Robin S. The main stage was open and Davide Squillace had the crowd moving and grooving to some tech house. Next up we had Nic Fanciulli to ramp up the atmosphere with some cool techno beats.
ANTS veteran Andrea Olivia did not disappoint with dropping Maceo Plex The Lights Are Out. The packed crowd loved the beats and danced all the way to the end! The ANTS opening certainly did not disappoint, and we already cant wait for next week!
