The Beach

Cala Gracio is by far one of our favourite beaches in Ibiza. Close enough to San Antonio to walk (just 2k) it is just far enough away to stop the mainstream rushing in, however you can reach it in just 15 minutes by foot and it is well worth the walk.

Its still waters are a deep cove, which protects it from the strong currents and waves from the ocean, so is perfect for a casual swim or for children to paddle about and there are lifeguards on hand at all times.
It is not overlooked by its nearby hotels, so has an air of privacy to it, which protects it from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio.

The theme of this beach is relaxation, so you can expect more timid activities here. Snorkelling near the rocks, exploring the more shaded pine trees that surround the sand and lots of lounging around are the main attractions here at Cala Gracio.

Fancy a little more peace? A short walk around the cove and you will discover Cala Gracioneta, Cala Gracio’s smaller sister beach, which is a more petite version and much more intimate.

There are refreshments served all day from Cala Gracio beach bar, which is a little pricier than a kiosk but worth the extra money, or you can get a more substantial meal just a short walk away from the sands at one Cala Gracias restaurants, most famous being El Chiringuito.

There is accommodation nearby; adults only Fiesta Hotel Cala Gracio or the more family friendly Fiesta Hotel Tanit, both of which have great reviews or you can stay in nearby San Antonio.
