We arrived just before golden hour, as the rooftop terrace came alive with warm lighting, relaxed beats, and a stylish crowd sipping mezcal margaritas under the Ibiza sky. The view from CIELITO is nothing short of spectacular — uninterrupted vistas of San Antonio Bay, where the sun melts into the sea in hues of pink, orange and gold. The menu at CIELITO is bold and colourful, packed with authentic Mexican flavour and fire. The tacos are a must — soft, handmade tortillas filled with succulent, slow-cooked meats and vibrant salsas that pack a punch. We tried a trio and struggled to pick a favourite, but the birria taco with rich consommé for dipping might just take the crown.
Another standout was the beef short ribs — tender, smoky, and falling off the bone, served with a silky chipotle glaze and roasted vegetables that gave the dish real depth. Every bite was pure comfort with a gourmet edge.
