IMS Ibiza Announces Full 2019 Speakers: Klas Bergling (Avicii’s Father), Zane Lowe & Professor Green

The international music summit returns for its 12th edition. The annual event which takes place over  three consecutive days will feature motivational talks from the likes of Klas Bergling who is the father of the late Avicii. He will be there to represent the Tim Bergling foundation and to discuss the important work they are doing in supporting people and organisations who are working in the field of mental illness and sucide prevention. Joining the debate on mental health will be UK artist Professor Green and superstar DJ Luciano.  They will be discussing what the industry can do to protect the health of those who work in it and they will be joined by a panel of mental health experts who have been treating some of the industry’s best talents.

Zane Lowe the Beats 1 host and head honcho at artist relations for Apple Music will be sharing his visions for electronic music at Apple with Pete Tong. will be back again this year with more details on the debate to follow. Resident advisor will be there to discuss the latest status of the global club scene. Artists, venue owners, agents, promoters and managers will come together to discuss – Is club culture headed in the right direction? The talk also includes none other than superstar DJ Richie Hawtin and UK artist SOPHIE and Kae Burke who is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of House of Yes.

Other debates that will be taking place include streaming in the DJ booth, the politics of dancing, restoring community to the dance floor, investigating intersectionality and how to curate balanced line-ups.  Not only that but there will also be fantastic speakers this year which will include power couple Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg. Joseph Capriati, Nicole Moudaber, Jax Jones, Nastia and Sven Vath will be joining.
