Tipic, the historical club in Formentera, famous in the 70s and in the 80s to be a landmark for hippies and passengers of the area, after long years get back to its origins. Tipic opened its doors in 1971, celebrating with a Pink Floyd’s gig, as the band was on the island for the recording of the film “More”. The getting back to the old days goes towards the origins of the bar, a melt of balearic and island nature.
Walk into Club Tipic and you are walking into Formentura history. Opening its doors in 1971 to the sounds of Pink Floyd playing live, it was THE club to go to in the 70’s and 80’s, however don’t think that it hasn’t moved with the times.
Today, Club Tipic has a relaxed and traditional feel, but keeps to its roots and is definitely worth checking out.
