Dark Green Studios is proud to present Dark Green Daze, a landmark solo exhibition by iconic New York street artist Chris “DAZE” Ellis, marking his first-ever appearance in Ibiza.
Coinciding with CAN Art Fair, this exclusive exhibition will launch on June 24th, 2025, at a private residence in San Rafael, Ibiza, and will be available to view by appointment only throughout the week.
A pioneering figure of the street art movement, DAZE rose to fame in the late 1970s painting New York City subway cars. Over the decades, his work has evolved from gritty cityscapes to museum-caliber masterpieces now housed in the permanent collections of institutions such as
MoMA and the Brooklyn Museum. With Dark Green Daze, he brings his signature visual language—colorful, kinetic, and deeply human—to the Balearic Islands for the very first time.
The show features a capsule collection of 20 original canvas works, large-scale installations, and an exclusive homeware line, including a limited ceramic edition. Set within a lived-in, domestic environment, the exhibition will allow for a more intimate and more immersive experience than a gallery or museum, and aims to reimagine how art can be experienced.
Curated by Michael Doohan, founder of Dark Green Studios and a longtime collector and friend of DAZE, the exhibition reflects a decade of shared passion and personal connection. “We didn’t want this to feel like a typical show, this is about creating a space where people can live with the work, engage with it, and feel part of the story.” Michael Doohan, founder of Dark Green Studios.

To celebrate the launch of Daze’s entry into Ibiza, Dark Green Studios will host an opening preview moment on June 24th, 2025, that embodies the collective’s mission to break down barriers in the art world, bringing together seasoned collectors, emerging artists, and curious newcomers in acelebration of creativity, collaboration, and community.
