Review | A night in the Garden of Madness at Ushuaïa!

Arriving at 8:30 seems to be pretty optimal at this time of the season. Ushuaïa appears to be just starting to come to life, the people have swept in from those sleepy summer beach days and the cooler sun aids recovery from the night before.

Angemi was the stalwart of the evening, a crowd hype machine layering Ed Sheeran and relentless drops continually, the audience lapping it up, if not becoming slightly too excited for the eve ahead. The crowd capitulated at Nervo’s arrival, enjoying a vibrancy from the female duo who’ve enjoyed major recent success and ended their summer with an intense and maybe even relieved final set. I have never seen them before but will be sure to see them again.

Steve Angello is Steve Angello. Sounds like a very generic thing to say but when it comes to headlining one of TomorrowLand at Ushuaïa’s last Summer Eves, having one half of Swedish House Mafia in your locker is definitely a bonus like no other. If Angelo didn’t have his own tunes to lay down and twist into new life, he brought a well matched and charged selection of tracks that made this set fully capable of being anywhere on the island. Loud and proud and completely relevant in a crowd baying for EDM, Angelo is a bona fide Ushuaïa legend.

Perfect end of season stuff! Don’t miss next weeks closing party!
