Review | Octan Ibiza opens in style with Warriors
10th July 2019 0 comments

Warriors has made its return to its rightful home which has been renamed as Octan.

The club that used to be named Sankeys has reopened its doors as Octan, and we at Discover Ibiza headed along to the opening party to check it out! Being one of the first ones in I headed straight to the bathroom to find that there was a DJ playing inside! This was a nice touch and everyone loved the concept as they danced away!

Not much has changed with the layout of the club. It still has that gritty underground feel to it. The cinema room was closed but hopefully in due course it will be reopened as this was a popular feature of the club back in the day! Heading to the Basement I was just in time to catch Guti who had the packed club moving and grooving as he lay down some tech-house bangers! It felt good being back in the Basement again with the low ceiling and red flashes of light flying past as your dancing the night away!

It was time for the main man himself the head honcho of Warriors to set the place of fire. It was time for Steve Lawler to return to his much loved basement. He opened his set with Patrick ToppingBe Sharp Say Nowt. This of course sent the crowd into a crazed frenzy! The tunes just kept on coming as everyone was sweating it out dancing to the tech-house beats!

To end the night somewhere around 6 -7 am was Enzo Siragusa who kept the crowd dancing right until the end! It was a very successful night for Octan which remained just about full the whole entire time! We wish them all the best for the summer season and we cant wait to come back. Warriors is back again Sunday 14th July with Darius Syrossian joining Steve Lawler and Anotr in the Basement!
