TEDxIbiza returns for its fourth edition on 14th March 2026, inviting audiences to take part in an inspiring day of ideas, creativity and cultural exchange. This year’s theme, Thinking Cultura, explores the powerful role culture plays in shaping who we are, how we relate to one another, and how communities can respond constructively to a rapidly changing world.
In a time where public discourse often feels increasingly polarised and detached from everyday life, TEDxIbiza aims to create a space for deeper reflection. The event encourages meaningful conversations around creativity, expression and shared stories, offering new ways to reconnect on a more human level.
Once again, the event will take place at the Palacio de Congresos in Santa Eulalia, bringing together local and international voices for a full day of thought-provoking talks and live performances.
A day of dialogue, creativity and cultural exchange
As part of the global TEDx movement, TEDxIbiza provides a platform for ideas that span art, technology, social impact and storytelling. The 2026 programme brings together artists, thinkers and cultural practitioners whose work examines culture as a dynamic and evolving force – one that influences identity, values, politics and the ways we connect.
With popular culture now shaped heavily by digital platforms and algorithms, this year’s talks explore how these shifts are transforming public life and collective behaviour. Throughout the day, speakers will address themes such as cultural memory, belonging, environmental responsibility, creativity, technological change and kindness as a form of social action.

The 2026 line-up includes a diverse group of voices, each offering a unique perspective on culture and society:

Federico Buyolo – Cultural agitator and Director at Fundación Ortega-Marañón, examining culture as a living framework that shapes each era and influences social and political transformation.

Isobel Bruce – Campaigner and storyteller, exploring how creative communication can reshape narratives around climate, gender and refugee rights.

Maggie Civantos – Actor, director and founder of MeP Lab, sharing insights from her work at the intersection of artistic practice, psychology and collective experience.

Joshua Coombes – Author and founder of Do Something for Nothing, discussing how simple acts of kindness can grow into powerful cultural movements.

Sophie Schnapp – Music and sustainability advocate with EarthPercent, highlighting the role of the creative sector in driving environmental action.

Rafael Tur – Ibiza-based ecological activist and water advocate, offering a local perspective on water as a shared cultural and environmental resource.
Together, these speakers – alongside others to be announced – will offer a wide-ranging exploration of how culture shapes our present and helps define the societies of the future.

TEDxIbiza AfterWords
After the main event, guests are invited to continue the conversation at the official TEDxIbiza AfterWords gathering at Amarulino, starting at 7:00 pm. The evening includes a generous sharing menu and offers the chance to unwind, connect with speakers and performers, and meet the team behind TEDxIbiza.
