What do you think of when you see a pair of shiny, pillar-box-red cherries? Summer picnics? Black forest gateau? The symbol of purity? Or, perhaps the mind wanders towards images of a laser-lit, whitewashed dancefloor. Salacious entertainers sashaying to juicy, electrifying beats, a glamorous following living every moment… whatever you think of, there’s no denying the influence one pair of fruits has over Ibiza. Pacha, the home of everything fun, flirty and fabulous provides all of the Balearic charm with all the more in acts. The halls are beckoning! The doors to this glitzy institute are getting ready to open.

And here at the office, we just can’t wait for those balmy summer nights spent in palm-tree littered Pacha. With several brand-spanking new parties announced for 2019, it’s looking set to be a rather dazzling summer at this party mecca. Kicking things off with an air of wonder and theatrics, new entry The Masquerade by Claptone is stealing our attention for Monday nights. The German DJ known for his golden-masked dressage will be opening proceedings, 27th May. The alluring concept has already graced the likes of Tomorrowland and promises an enticing world of mystery, spectacle and infectious house rhythms.

Tuesdays at Pacha are bringing through a mixed bag of delights. From 4th June until 23rd July, the gargantuan speakers will be readying to boom for a spunky hip-hop, pop and Latin infused night. Colombian reggaeton performer J Balvin is blessing Pacha with its very first urban party. So, grab your posse for a night of sexy beats that will have this glitzy dancefloor suitably throbbing. Keeping the pulsating energy alive, 6th August till 3rd September, is a man needing no introductions. Superstar Calvin Harris delivers his residency – hit summer anthems and confetti cannons at the ready!

And ensuring all floors, and guests, stay confetti-colored for a night of peace, love and unity is Flower Power, Wednesday 29th May. Four decades of party history have gifted Pacha an unshakable date in the diary. Celebrating the heyday of the 60s, 70s and 80s, this unique party encourages jazzy garments and lots of hands-in-the-air singalongs. Dancing in a psychedelic themed paradise to classic Beatles and Jimi Hendrix is certainly an experience you won’t get elsewhere.

Now, mark this epic date in permanent marker. The iconic Music On has moved to Pacha. Thursday 16th May is the day history gets made for this global dominatrix. Those accustomed to the shouts of ‘Music On!’ at the end of one of these knees up will know how large the news is. Quaking, quivering techno is the agenda and a fiercely loyal fanbase is the following – Marco Carola and a champion pack of chosen ones are to be announced. If previous years of Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers and Green velvet are anything to go by, we foresee new records in the making.
Continuing the rampant theme into the weekend, Fridays make way for another fresh face to add to the collection. Palpable and entrancing, Berlin-vibes aplenty with Innervisions mastermind Dixon’s new creation. Transmoderna is a glorious wormhole of progressive, ethereal techno and house set to take over. Expect the likes of DJ Koze, Ame, Mano Le Tough and Tale Of Us to oscillate the towering walls with hypnotism on a whole new level from 24th May.

Saturdays at Pacha are looking like a mystery yet to be told. At present no announcements have been made for this universal day of fiesta. Likely, it’s a hint to not get too comfortable yet so one thing’s for sure, we’re keeping watch! Meanwhile, King of electronica and, arguably, King of the island, Solomun returns to play on His day.

Sundays have been synonymous with Solomun +1 for some time and it’s not going anywhere. The legend returns with his emotive, mature and winning taste in music, 26th May. As the title suggests, a plus one will accompany the mastermind each night. Respective legends, no short of, Luciano, Joseph Capriati and Maceo Plex are just a few on this dazzling bill. Pacha, as always, we salute you!
