The roster of events opens with the game-changing Black Coffee, Saturday 25th May. Bringing his otherworldly – and quite frankly, other-dimensional – night to the slick interiors of Hï Ibiza, the South African DJ is set to continue his disruptive streak. His imaginative night has captured the island since its 2017 conception, with numbers that flock for the signature enchanting atmosphere. Black Coffee has brought through the likes of Virgil Abloh, Blond:ish, Guy Gerber and Honey Dijon in previous seasons so our tip: believe all the hype.
Officially marking Sundays as a day of flamboyance, throwbacks and outrageous costume, the sensational Glitterbox opens house 26th May. The glitter-laden madness runs weekly until 6th October so you’ve plenty of time to get those kaleidoscopic outfits together.
Next in line is a man with surely the most icon-status of them all. David Guetta’s F*** Me I’m Famous has moved from one glossy dancefloor to another this season. His longstanding home of Pacha is now no more as his sell-out residency takes over the futuristic halls of Hï Ibiza. The highly-anticipated opening kicks off Friday 7th June with a line-up TBA. Alluding to his dizzying star-status, a night with Guetta is always audaciously large, full of surprise and the hottest EDM names. Join fans from every corner of the globe for what is set to be a new era of explosive energy.
Wednesday 12th June welcomes the return of trance kingpin Armin Van Buuren for another summer of floor-rocking anthems alongside Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. This uncanny mix of sexy, popping house and mind-blowing EDM has kept the residency a firm fixture on Hï Ibiza’s books. The widely popular night sees Armin turn the Theatre into a thrilling dance-music delight while Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano throw the hottest beats in the Club room.
A brand new entry to get your two-step ready for is Bodyworks. Snagging Tuesday as its night to play, Camelphat and Solardo have teamed up alongside emerging, Australian, talent Fisher. A concept full of promise, with two of the most in-demand names taking over the grounds, sounds like just the right idea for an early-week fiesta. Camelphat and Solardo are certainly no strangers to the scene, having respectively paid their dues across the seasons. Be one of the first to catch these masters at work!
For those spine-chilling and hair-raising moments, Afterlife is claiming Thursdays as its day of reckoning. 27th June sees the opening of the cutting-edge techno and house fiesta with a suitably colossal line-up. The concept brings a touch of emotive energy to the electric dancefloors of Hï Ibiza with minimal production and acts that do all of the talking. Contain yourselves, as a team comprising of Tale of Us, Maceo Plex, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettman and Rødhåd as just a few – yes, a few – on the gracious opening roster. The signal is strong for a killer summer.
To complete the weekly schedule is the radically unique RICHBITCH. A Hip Hop, R&B and Raggaeton night ensures every taste in music gets an immersive experience. Formerly hosted in Privilege, urban-pop DJ Ale Zubar has curated a night that’s won over Turin, London, Miami and now Ibiza. Effervescent beats to make your hips shake are the calling card of this one, catch the opening Monday 15th July.
