Perfect Cove for Exploring

Port do San Miguel

A popular resort, although small, Puerto de Sant Miguel used to be a fishing port for the village San Miguel, however has grown into its own and has become a frequently visited area for families and couples alike.

The beach here is sheltered from the rough and tumble of the sea making it a great location for children as the shallow water is usually very calm. If you want to try waterskiing or even diving you can do both here, and once you’re done, a small walk up the soft golden sand and you can lay on a sun lounger and soak up some rays!

There is also plenty to do here, with souvenir shops, a supermarket if you want to stock up on essentials and plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you fed and watered. This is also THE place for fresh fish and seafood on the island, with Port Balansat being famed for its amazing food and if you want to eat like a local and try the favourite dish of the island, ask for Bullit de Peix; you will not be disappointed!

With hotels and apartments that are built right into the cliffs here and overlooking the beach, so you get absolutely stunning views whilst staying here.

With frequent busses and little ferries dotted about, Puerto de Sant Miguel is easily accessible for other parts of the island and vice versa. You can rent a car here and take yourself exploring or just pop on a bus which will take you to Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia and the ferries pop over to San Antonio, Es Cana Market and Portinax if you fancy spending the day on the other side of the island.
