The closest village to the airport, Sant Jondi is a popular place for many reasons. Close enough to Playa d’en Bossa to easily access the nightlife and atmosphere but far enough away that you can escape it all and soak up some of Ibiza’s culture instead.

Sant Jordi has a very spiritual feel to it, with a temple and a majestic fortified church that is surrounded by beautiful patios of palm trees and bright flowers.

The white wash buildings and terracotta tile roofing here makes Sant Jordi picturesque and you really do feel like you have been sent back in time in this Mediterranean village.

Close by there is a horse racing venue, which is turned into a second hand flea market each Saturday, where you can purchase handmade trinkets, second hand items and even clothing.

Sant Jordi is just outside the Ses Salinas natural Park so is close to many beautiful beaches which are still relatively untouched by the normal tourist market, so a great place to stay if you want to view a more natural side of Ibiza.

There is ample accommodation in San Jordi, with hotels, hostels and apartments close to the showground area, and if you really want to submerse yourself in the old Ibiza vibe, there are plenty of countryside houses that have been recently refurbished that you can inquire about renting for your stay.
