Tantra Ibiza continued the MUSIC PLEASE residency show with a special Loulou Players party on the last Tuesday in July and made a real splash. The party aims to bring the freshest house and tech to the White Isle on a monthly basis and had the right team of selectors on hand for the first one.
The club itself has a cosy feel and a killer sound system which was getting people on the floor from the off. Just two minutes from, Ibiza Town, it was nicely busy early on with a cool and well-dressed selection of people in and dancing from the off.
For this party, once again the main man Kolombo was on hand to drop his tight, soul-infused brand of house music. Plenty of lush synths and rubbery kicks made a good impact on the crowd who lapped up his every tune. Next, to his own jams, there were some classic house cuts that got big reactions and wood from the crowd. Loulou Players themselves also made a great impression with a set of skilfully mixed tunes that took in a wide range of styles for deep to tech to vocal.
They played with the crowd who lapped it up and repaid the energy in kind. Ibiza Global Radio’s Jose Maria Ramon brought plenty of Balearic White Isle vibes to the table and Kittball associate Ante Perry also brought a different vibe that kept people locked in. All in all, this is a slick night of upfront house that is a great and cosy club to party in when out in Ibiza.
