Being a Ushuaïa virgin, I was excited to arrive at the fabulous venue and as we walked up to the entrance the bass was driving and pulling us in!
We soon found the bar and after a quick refreshment hit the dance floor! The venue was already filling up quickly, and people are jumping around the pool having a lot of fun as Lovra started to work some magic and raised the tempo!
We had a wander around the venue, as it was my first time in Ushuaïa I was like a kid in a candy shop! The best views were on top of the back bar, and the most fun was down the front!
After a few hours of dancing and enjoying a vibrant set from Glow in the Dark, we headed over to the poolside to have a paddle while Afrojack joined the party. The crowd by now was enjoying the vibe as the drums started to pick up the pace.
One thing I have to mention is the production, wow is the main summary! It’s like being in a festival, dramatic visuals and perfect timed pyrotechnics… simply stunning well done Ushuaïa team.
Afrojack worked his audience in a mad flurry of wavey synths and kicked drums he brought his set to a close.
As we scanned the crowd, it was like a wave of light as phones rose into the air in their thousands… this could only mean one thing!
Mr David Guetta had arrived on stage, and the fans were certainly lapping it up! As Guetta opened his set In style, we joined in with our Instagram lives! My boss says in the old days we used memories for remembering the good times, not phones! I say hey this is easier! As my friends back home kept messaging me as I made them drool over my live feed, we decided to get back to the front and enjoy the final hour.
It was an amazing experience, and by midnight my feet ached, and we had partied solid since arriving, We loved every minute of Big and can’t wait to be back for the next instalment!
My first visit to Ushuaïa and certainly won’t be the last! Amazing venue and production out of this world!
