Black Coffee took us on a musical futuristic journey!
The South African superstar has had his residency at Hï Ibiza since 2017 and ever since it has grown from strength to strength. Having attended the first ever opening back in 2017 i just had to go back and check it out again and oh boy it did not disappoint!
I arrived at the club around 2am and weaved myself through the hordes of people to get to the Club room to catch Guy Mantzur before quickly moving over to the Theatre to catch the last 30 minutes of &ME who had the whole dance floor moving as he was building bit by bit. He dropped his famous track The Rapture. The beautiful melody had everyone in a trance as did – Tell Me Are We by Rampa Feat WhoMadeWho.
&ME then handed over to the main man himself Black Coffee who didn’t waste any time in dropping his iconic tune Wish You Were Here (Guy Mantzur remix). The tribal and deep house tunes just kept on coming and it felt as if we got a sneak peek of the future in music terms.
As it approached 5.30am the party was still in full swing and the moment that we had all been waiting for finally arrived as &ME joined Black Coffee behind the decks to go B2B, and they did not waste any time in dropping &ME remix of Guy Gerbers What To Do.
This went down really well with the crowd and the guys continued to raise the roof. I left around 7am after managing to stay on the dance floor most of the night not wanting to miss a single second. That’s how good the music was! Black Coffee is a night that you do not want to miss with incredible line-ups every week!
