25th July 2017 0 comments

When Miss MoneyPenny’s first launched in the UK almost 30 years ago, it immediately earned itself a reputation as one of the most glamorous clubbing brands in the country. Miss MoneyPenny’s kept clubbers dancing throughout the nineties and noughites before closing its doors in 2009 following a 14-year residency at El Divino. Luckily for partygoers planning a trip to the White Isle, Miss MoneyPenny’s is back. Now hosted by Ocean Beach Ibiza, the club night is bigger, louder and more glamorous than ever.

Summer in Ibiza is well and truly in full swing and the hot Mediterranean sun was shining brightly for Miss MoneyPenny’s return. Ocean Beach Ibiza is well known for attracting a good crowd and the beautiful people were definitely out in force to celebrate the legendary club night’s return. Despite many of the partygoers begin born long after Miss MoneyPenny’s first hit the party scene, the clubbers at Ocean Beach gave the night the welcome back it deserved. The sumptuous venue looked just as good as the attendees, with the pool and bar areas packed from the moment doors opened.

One of the first acts to take to the stage was the Ibiza House Orchestra. Making their first appearance at Ocean Beach Ibiza, the group got the crowd up and dancing with a number of orchestral pieces before the flame-haired lead singer hit the stage to really get the party started. The group treated the crowd to both nineties classics and contemporary numbers, ensuring there was something for everyone. Clubbers mingled and disco balls glittered in the evening sun as the band closed their set with Good Luck by Basement Jaxx and Waiting All Night by Rudimental and Ella Eyre.

As well as music, partygoers enjoyed a number of exciting performances by the acrobats, dancers and entertainers Ocean Beach is known for. Making the perfect backdrop to Miss MoneyPenny’s glamorous antics, these hypnotising acts ensured clubbers always had something to feast their eyes on.

As the sun set over San Antonio Bay and day turned into night, the atmosphere at Ocean Beach Ibiza became even more convivial and even more exciting. Clubbers lounged around the pools, bars and terraces while others danced the evening away to the relentlessly good tunes.

With Miss MoneyPenny’s even better than most of us remembered, the sumptuous brand is set to become one of the most original and unique nights on the island once more. Make sure you enjoy an afternoon of glamour next time you’re indulging in a luxurious Ibiza getaway.
